Mark’s extensive experience has led to a track record integrating and investing in next-generation systems and scalable technologies with a specialty in proptech, blockchain, DeFi / crypto, connected devices, augmented reality (AR), and design & construction technology. Speaker at TEDx, SXSW, Augmented World Expo, and numerous others.

Mark has worked on the development of multiple GSA project.

Michael Militello, CCIM

Managing Director

Michael is responsible for the design and execution of the investment strategy of Monarch Equities.  This includes the acquisition, sourcing financing and management of properties in the portfolio

Michael leverages over three decades of experience and expertise in commercial real estate. Throughout his distinguished career, he has built a solid reputation as a thoughtful, analytical, and focused professional who has developed the ability to creatively structure the most complex, challenging transactions.  His experiences span multiple CRE disciplines and product types ranging from a tiny 200 sf office lease to a multi-million-dollar land redevelopment project.

Michael stared his commercial real estate career as a broker specializing in the Northwest suburbs of Chicago working primarily with regional businesses and investors to accommodate their leasing, acquisition and/or disposition needs.

Michael was the founder of Paramount Commercial Properties focusing on client site acquisition needs.  His experience in gap analysis, site feasibility, financial modeling, competition research, entitlements and contract negotiations resulted in the acquisition of multiple successful locations.  

Michael led the commercial division for a national real estate franchisee where he was involved in training brokers in business development, financial analysis and property marketing for multiple property types.  He specialized in multi-family brokerage.

Michael’s property management experience includes retail, mix-use and residential properties.

He was an instructor for the Real Estate Investment and Property Management course at a regional college.

Michael owned and managed a renovation company that serviced multifamily and single-family clients.  In this capacity he developed and executed multiple systems related to operations, accounting, marketing, business development, employee training and customer retention.  These actions resulted in 25% year over year revenue growth

Michael’s formal education includes a finance degree from Marquette University and the CCIM designation.
